We are launching extensive projects to expand the generation of regional renewable energy and keep the electrical energy we need 100% green. One measure here is the installation of photovoltaic systems on the company premises. We have thoroughly inspected every single factory building to ensure that the respective roof meets the high static requirements in terms of load-bearing capacity.

In a first step, we planned PV systems on two warehouses with a total nominal output of 400 kWP and an expected annual yield of 350 MWh.

We were able to commission the systems at the beginning of August. Since then, they have been feeding electricity into our plant grid, 100% of which we consume ourselves. On a sunny day, this amounts to approx. 2.5 MWh. Further PV systems are currently in the planning stage.
